I've decided to set up this website to try and give a little credibility to the world of horse racing. In no other sport can scam artists trying to make a quick buck off the inexperienced Joe public and in no other sport do Joe public just sit back and let them make the quick buck. I want to try and educate so you don't make the same mistakes I did when I said to myself "this is easy I'm going to make a fortune." The truth is, its not easy its hard work and most of it doesn't even pay off but you start again and slowly but surely you will start to pick winners then you will even see your betting bank to go look a little healthier each month. You will still pick loosing horses and still have loosing months, that’s the natre of horse racing but you'll be able to handle the loss without major drama.
I'll tell you little about myself. My names Adrian and I love horse racing. I've been betting on horse racing for about 3 years now. I've also watched with great interest the rise of the betting exchanges. These sites have revolutionised the gaming industry and made the traditional bookmakers sit up and take note of its customers. They now have to come up with some very enticing bets to get custom away from the exchanges. If you’re new to Horse racing and looking for some where to open a betting account I strongly urge you to open an account with one of exchanges. You'll find the links for the most popular ones at the bottom of this page with my own thoughts on each one of them.
If you are new to horse racing go to my getting started page. I've tried to put some advice there so you can avoid the pitfalls that I've found myself in. Just have a look it may save you some money it will definitely save you some time. Also if you look at the links page you'll find some websites that may prove very usefull.
Anyway I'll cut to the chase I'll put my system selections as and when I find them. Please feel free to use them or not as the case maybe. However if you wish to use them you take full responsiblity for the bet. If you put some of your own hard earned cash on my selections don't come crying if you've lumped a £1000.00 on it only to find it ends starts the race with only 3 legs
BETFAIR :- The biggest and in my opinion the best. You can bet on anything from the winner of the X factor to wether the FTSE is going to go up or down hour by hour. You can also get some great prices usually a lot better than than conventional bookies. Markets open 24hrs prior to the off, ideal if like me you have to go out to work for a living. However try to hold off from betting until at least the morning of the race, this gives the chance for the Markets to settle down.
BETDAQ :- Located in Ireland (the true land of horse racing) and a great site to boot. Nice and easy to navigate and the odds can be changed from decimal to fractions (for those of us that are still in pounds and ounces. sticks two fingers up in the direction of brussels.) Above each race there is a small icon saying "tip check" this gets updated about 9am every morning and it shows all the tips for that race from all the major newspaper tipsters. The site is not a big or aswell known as Betfair but its getting there. You may want to open an account for both Betfair and Betdaq as odds can vary a fair bit.
WBX :- If you don't like either of those two try this one. WBX located in the capital very much up and coming as regards to the other two betting exchanges but a good site non the less, nice and easy to navigate aswell. They also have WBX insight with some great tips and betting news. WBX also has some good coloumists like racing commentator Richard Hoiles. good site well worth a visit, even if its just to check it out.
